 This statue on top was the prize of Napoleon when he came to Berlin he stole it and took it back to France with him , after the war it was found and brought back to its resting place on the Brandenburg Gate with the added cross and eagle held by the rider. It is Huge I cant image someone moving it back then or even now. Silly Napoleon.

This square is very busy- there are people dressed up as statues and you can take pictures with them and there is a hotel here just a few feet away that is the hotel that Micheal Jackson held his baby out the window from the one with all the news coverage... oh and the united states embassy is right next to us in this picture too. lots of people and a very big tourist attraction.
