Europe and Tickets

So, back in the states I know I always had a lead foot but I never got tickets-once... Kris had at least 3 thinking it may actually be more like 4. Since we have lived here we have gotten 3 in six months! they dont pull you over they take a picture and mail you a ticket by mail. Most times you don't know there is a camera then flash you are hit with a bright light- enough to blind you at night (that happened in France-we have yet to get that one) and a couple months later you get your traffic ticket, sometimes with a picture sometimes not-so then there is marital dispute to who actually recieved the tickets-(it goes to the car and registered driver). The fine is percentages, don't know the math on it. but our biggest ticket was 25 Euros for going 60 kph in a 50 kph. When you pay your bill you go to the bank -on base for me- and you fill out a payment slip the money goes to an account with your reference# -- this is the same way you pay your doctor bills. Anyways, so the lady at the bank made sure to tell me to keep a file for all of the tickets and all the receipts of payments, and that everyone has a full file of tickets.. The European way. ticket is in the mail...
