Garmisch-Partenkirch Germany Home of the 1936 Olympics

We spent the 5 days at this wonderful Bavarian city. From our room we looked out across to see the Ski jump made for the Olympics, they keep it lit up at night. This is the little bed and breakfast type place we stayed at- bed with no breakfast. It was really neat up the trail behind the house was a great restaurant Beer Garten. It is a German tradition to have a good hike and a beer. I say yuck to the beer and really cant say that I really love the hike stuff too. Maybe I will be transformed into liking hiking.
This was out our window- the Roof bathroom window, looking down to the path the boys walking down from the Almhutte Restaurant..- all the houses here have roof windows that open up and you can look through, they are really neat windows.
