Wilhelma Zoo and Gardens

the bad part about a zoo in a foreign country is not knowing what they list the names of the animals as. so i dont know what this guy is. pretty in pink.

after watching Rise of planet of the apes seeing this guy was really fun!

We went to the zoo on Sunday and wow this place is Huge! we bought an annual passes so we could take our time and visit all year they are open 365 days. neat. so we will get to see it all. it is about 1/2 hour drive and maybe we will pluck up enough courage to take the train, think it will be 4 transfers. We stayed for 3 hrs and only saw part of the Monkey(Affen) area and the whole bird area- that was neat way more birds then back in the states.
