Verona Italy page 1

 Cute little car- couldnt  get a picture quick enough though.

 Something out of a movie.

 Thought this was great especially since it was in english too. no bathing or going nudo...

 Verona's Colosseum. below is the picture of Capulets symbol for the family- yes they were real -story however not.. Capulet as in Cap they were hat makers.

 It is said that holding Juliette's breasts will either give you good luck or fortune. what you don't see here is there are lots of people waiting their turn to do what we are doing. and that poor Juliette's breasts are shiny from so many people touching them. not patina like the rest of the statue. Over Kristopher's shoulder is a ton of locks hanging on a wall -this is from a movie that came out where some lovers had a locker down at a train station adn they kept a lock on it that they both would have a key too.

 Posh shopping area. Leonardo Di Caprio is suppose to own a house on the top of the shop on the corner near the Colosseum.

 This was interesting and we again wouldn't have known anything about it had we not had our great tour guide from Colors of Italy. She told us that this is where the merchants would all come and get there things measured to make sure they met the cities standards. all the cities had one and they were not all the same. the round thing hanging was for circumference. and what you don't see is a spot to put your bricks.. there were a bunch of measuring objects around the thing, everyone was sitting on it..

A Tomb on a church.. the Big dog. Genghis Khan means big dog the man in this coffin visited there and said he wanted to be known as the big dog as well so .. his name Cangrande translates to that.
