poor "Daddy" toe

Daddy toe is what the boys call the big toe- and the little toe is the baby.
oh, by the way and i was having a bad hair day in this picture.

Back in October-the posting on 26th. I hurt my right foot, in fact pretty sure i broke my big toe and injured that surrounding area of it.. It is now February (those who are slow on math that is 4 months later) and it is still not perfect by any means. Right before Christmas I researched the topic on the internet it said that there were only a couple breaks that needed attention medically -and to try to not walk on it keeping it flat... so i knew i didnt want to go to the doctor before our trip to Disney and be told to wear some foot brace so i opted to wait unitl after our trip to visit the Doctor.

While at Disney I was starting to wonder if that was a wise decision since I hadnt walked on it like that since it happened. Painful, tired foot. Then on Christmas eve the boys really wanted me to go on the Tower of Terror, this ride takes you up and drops you down repeatedly, well I did it knowing it would most likely be a one time affair since I get quite sick on those kinda rides. On this ride we sat in the front and there was this slope in front of my feet. The first time we went up and dropped down my foot banged into the slopping wall thingy, perfect I thought this just finished my foot off! So much pain the rest of the ride and now i was sick too. about an hour later I realized that God is so amazing! He put my toes back in the right place and I knew it was starting to heal not like it was before.

So yes, my toe still isn't perfect but I truly believe it is healing the right way now. I am a bit clumsy and keep knocking it so wearing shoes in the house may be a good option. or at least slippers with hard bottoms.
